So for those of y’all who haven’t read my recent post on the Raven Boys, you should all be forewarned that I am now obsessed with The Raven Cycle. Like, looking at fan art obsessed. It’s bad.
This is a review of the sequel to the Raven Boys, so for those of y’all who haven’t read it, I’d suggest skedaddling off to your local bookstore because this book is going to CHANGE YOUR LIFE.
Okay, now there are really spoilers!
The Dream Thieves follows the spooky magic gang (okay maybe not their real name but I like it) after the revelation that Ronan can bring things back from his dreams. The plot of this novel centers mostly around that fun little development and some of its not-so-fun side effects.
This book had all of the amazing things that I fell in love with in book one, and took it a step further in the sequel. For once, I can actually say that the sequel was better than the original. The characters were so much more fleshed out in this book, and I can’t wait to see where they go from here.
Now, time to go start on the third book.
Final rating- 5/5
Thanks for reading my review, and until next time, happy reading 🙂
